The Adventures of Caroline and Pooh

It all began with a little girl named Caroline AND...yes, the one and only Pooh Bear! This friendship was one that would last a lifetime. On the first night that Pooh was at home with his new found friend Caroline, he ended up taking a swim in her bath water...oops! Luckily, Mommy found out that Caroline's friend Pooh seems to be invincible. Just throw him in the washer and dryer and voila...he's like new! I have a feeling that this will not be the only time our friend Pooh happens to get into something that he shouldn't be in...with a little help from his friend Caroline.

So, I have captured the moments of the first meeting of friends...Enjoy!

Love,

Caroline's Mommy

The Family Bike Ride

We decided to try out our new trailer that Daddy had purchased so his little girl could go bike riding with Daddy. Little did I know that this casual family bike ride would turn into 10 miles...yes 10 miles of bike riding! And if anyone knows me, I'm not a bike rider! So, needless to say, at the end of this family fun day, I was one tired Mommy!

I will say that it was nice spending the day together as a family! Next time I think I will pass and let Daddy have a Daddy/Daughter day! ;~) I'll meet them at the pool!

Here are some pictures of our 1st Family Bike Ride! Enjoy!

Booster Seats and Potty Seats...

What a big girl!!

Yes, you turn 18 months and Mommy changes where you eat and begins teaching you about big girl things, like "THE POTTY."

The booster seat was a welcomed replacement to the highchair, for me and for Caroline. I like it because it doesn't take up room in our kitchen like the high chair and Caroline LOVES being able to sit at the table like Mommy and Daddy! So, we packed away the high chair until baby number 2 comes along and celebrated a new milestone with our little one.

Secondly, Mommy introduced the potty seat. Let's just say, it's just an introduction. I'm not pushing in anyway, just letting things happen on their own. Now Caroline wants to go potty with Mommy, just so she can sit on her big girl chair. Now, the next step is actually going to the potty...we'll keep you posted...it may be awhile...just letting things happen.

Love,

Caroline's Mommy

Push-Ups, Parks and Curious George

Mmm...push-ups! This is definitely something that screams summertime to me. I remember eating and loving these as a kid. Now, I have a daughter of my own that LOVES them too

(as you can see in the pics below).

Parks, Parks, and more Parks...that's what nice summer weather is about...playing outside!! I'm not sure what we will do when Winter comes...let's not think about that now. ;~)

And finally...getting a toddler to eat can be tricky, so I pulled out all the stops and had someone show her how fun eating can be...yes, Curious George, appropriate right?!? Well, it worked! As you can see Georgie needed a bath once we were done, but all in all Caroline had fun feeding her friend!

Hope you enjoy the pics...happy summer!

Memorial Day 2009

Happy Memorial Day 2009!

We spent the day playing outside and bar-b-quin of course!!

As you can see in the pics below Caroline had fun relaxing under her umbrella, running through the sprinkler, and posing for the camera in her patriotic outfit and matching balloon of course!

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday...summer here we come!
