Brrr...The Blizzard of 2009

It happened on Saturday, December 19, 2009.
This was the weekend we had planned to go with my family on our annual Williamsburg Christmas trip. Sadly, none of us were able to make it because we were in the middle of a blizzard. We ended up with about 2 feet of snow! We hadn't seen that much snow in a long, long time. And some of us (Caroline) had never experienced that much snow. As you can imagine, she was SO EXCITED to go play in the snow and build a snowman, but most importantly, make snow angels in the snow!

So, I hope you enjoy these pics of our little snow angel having fun in ALL this snow!

Love,

Our deck and backyard...look at ALL that snow!

And here's Mattie...playing in the snow...she LOVES it!

Look at this "stuff" on my mittens!

Wow...it's still falling!

Wow!

At least the snow provided a great snapshot of our family...our Christmas Card for 2009!

Look at how deep the snow is...2 feet!

Here are a couple of pictures of Caroline with her friends, The Snowmen and friends posing in front of the snowman tree and another pic of Caroline with the Gingerbread house that we made as a family, while being snowed in! Enjoy!

And here is Caroline posing with our Gingerbread house creation! I think she had just tried to lick some of the frosting off of the house! ;~)
